ABOUT SANDY SUP & SURF
Hi there, I’m Oscar your new instructor, I am a fully qualified Lifeguard as well as surf life saving coach.
I am well experienced with the ocean, I’ve been surfing for nearly 10 years, as well as training with rescue boards since i was 6 years old.
I have very high working standards where safety is my number one priority, closely followed by everybody learning new skills and having an amazing paddle-boarding/surfing experience.
I have a range of coaching experiences in training junior lifeguards, as well as previous surf coaching sessions with a range of all ages.

Westward Ho! is a beautiful seaside village, unique for its name (being one of the only names with an exclamation mark in the UK), part of Northam Burrows, and Sandy mere beach where you can learn to surf in a safe, friendly environment. If surfing is not for you then why not take up Paddle boarding (or SUP ing) in either Little America, across the river Torridge banks and down the river Yeo, enjoying the views of Instow and Appledore. Or for a bit more of a challenge, come to Clovelly, the beautiful fishing village, where we leave the harbour, going along the coastline, taking in the beautiful scenery on the way.
